Who We Are

We know you have a lot of choices when it comes to booking your family and corporate outings on the Chesapeake Bay so what is it that makes South River Boat Rentals and our Chesapeake Charters so special that you would choose us?

South River Boat Rentals is a privately-owned company celebrating its 30th anniversary. That is a lot of experience we can put to good use to make sure you have the trip of a lifetime.

Much of our reputation is based on the quality and dedication of our team and our belief in first-class customer service. It is so important that you have a smooth and relaxing outing and our friendly and knowledgeable staff are on hand to look after you every step of the way.

When you book through us, you are not dealing with a third party, we are right here on site.
Our Chesapeake Bay rental office is based here in the Annapolis area in the Gingerville Yachting Center.

We all know the boats thoroughly, we see them all every day. Not only does this make us extremely on the ball when it comes to maintenance, but it also means our bookings team is able to answer any questions, no matter how specific or unique. This also helps us to match you up with the right boat.

We have been out on the water on all of them, we know their layouts from memory and we also know all the little quirks. We endeavor to answer all email inquiries on the same day, usually within a couple of hours. When you book with us you will find the whole process completely hassle-free from start to finish, giving you time to relax and enjoy your vacation.
